Backboneby GabrielComment: I am just blown away by the calibre of images in the challenge... so many that I'm bumping up from 8 to a 9 or 10... and this is another that deserves 10... there's nothing wrong with it and all I can put the initial 8 down to... but at least I'm back to fix my earlier harshness. Colour, composition, detail, and artistic value... all great. |

Paddle Faceby glad2badadComment: If this doesn't get a Posthumous... I'll have words... This is wonderful for its uniqueness... it's what I wish I was brave enough to do with my photography. Love it! I can only give this one score (despite having given it an 8 initially)... that's a 10. |

grandfatherby KineComment: What a wonderful image... reminds me of my grandfather... oh how I miss him. Composition and contrast are great, but it's the emotion that this image stirs that makes this such a powerful one. I think I was overly critical with my voting earlier, and like I've been doing to a few images, I'm rectifying my earlier harshness now that I'm commenting. So... the 8 is now a 9. |

MOMA SFby chromeydomeComment: Best architectural image in the Best of Challenge. I love the balance of this composition... could have done with a touch more contrast IMHO... so can't give it a 10... but definitely worth more than the 8 I originally gave. Less than 10, but more than 8... guess I have to give it a 9. |

The Sound of Silenceby essayComment: Oh Wow... truly amazing. Love the composition, and the colour. My one issue with it is the rock in the foreground... the only thing stopping me bumping my vote to a 10.. but I will bump it to a 9. |

Texas Fieldby jerseyjimComment: Great image. Colours and composition are wonderful, but it's the clouds that I love most in this image... they have a great depth... they give it a 3d feel. |

oneby nixterComment: This is my most favourite image in the challenge. Like a few other images, I initially gave it an 8 but am bumping it to 10... I'd give it 11 if I was allowed to. This is a brilliant work of art, and I'm not blowing smoke up your arse. I just can't put in words enough how much I love this. |

Symmetrical Smileby mqnaufalComment: Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful... that's all that needs to be said. Great contrast, great crop/composition, great detail. I love the unorthodox angle... well done... love to see brave submissions. Originally gave this an 8 but think I was too harsh and bumping it to 9. |

Latticeby colorcarnivalComment: Another absolutely captivating that I cannot fault... everything is perfect... I must have gotten up on the the wrong side of bed when voting as I only gave this an 8 in my voting phase... Bumping this to 10 and faving it too. |

The Other Wayby odriewComment: Absolutely captivating! I love this image in so many ways... everything is perfect... and saying that, I can't understand why I only gave this an 8 in my voting phase... I can't fault it technically or artistically. Brilliant work. Bumping this to 10 and am going to have to fav it too. Sorry¡ |
