Everything about this is perfect -- the composition, focus, exposure, conversion, etc. An endearing and creative portrait.

Love the different approach here. The chin going up and the shapes really has one staring...just to find myself being stared at.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful... that's all that needs to be said. Great contrast, great crop/composition, great detail. I love the unorthodox angle... well done... love to see brave submissions. Originally gave this an 8 but think I was too harsh and bumping it to 9.

This is wonderful! The eylashes have made a nicely shaped frame for the reflection in the eyes. Funny about the title, because I probably wouldn't have thought of this. The eyes, to me, are what this is all about.
Outstanding conversion too.

The angle of the image and the shallow depth of field causing the face to progressively soften does not appeal to me.

Nice twist on this portrait of a child. The looking back and upside down shot is very visually interesting to me. A different angle and something new to be enjoyed. And wow! just look at those gorgeous big eyes and lovely lashes. It is those eyes that really grab and hold my attention. Nice catchlights in the eyes as well. The B&W tones are spectacular; the perfect range of dynamic tones. This is a unique, well composed, and well captured portrait.
