Excellent colour and composition... I love the story it tells... always like a story,.. now this is a flower photo that I like. :)


Now... please bear with me... I'm revisiting a little comment experiment I conducted in the 2009-03 Free Study... something like K10DGuy's comments, but with a twist... the twist being, the story will move from one photo to another within the challenge... also, I don't select just a few photos I start at the first and end on the last as determined by DPC random order assigned to me, with a single sentence for each photo... should be interesting... and you're photo is #8 in the series

What wonderful detail! And the use of duotone is a brilliant touch... makes this bug shot stand out from the others... even the great ones. This is my favourite macro shot in the challenge.
