Thinking of Homeby karmatComment: I like the rusty/dusty/metalic feel of this shot. Think everyone feels very "emotive" about military personnel. Nice capture and nice title. All around nice job :-) |

The Fishermanby aimeethetooComment: wooooooooohooooooooooo we gotta 'femme fetale' in the top 40!!!! woman you rock!!! your guy know your out chatting with men in waders at sunset?j/k
I never saw this picture when I voted challenge, either. I love the choice of sky tones as opposed to the dark lower tones. I look at this picture and it feels like I can hear the sound of the fishing line as it crosses the water. Very emotive and peaceful. NICE NICE job here! |

Ring of Lightby taljComment: very nice shot. After a couple of drinks I'd be UNDER the boat..lol...course maybe underneath with have some nicely textured barnicles ;-) lol... I like this shot and found your critique club comments very interesting. I agree on the sky part and building distortion. Bert Monroy has a tutorial at his website on correcting building distortion in photoshop. Idea and composition are great here. If the building weren't in picture my first thought was bicycle wheel. good job woman!!! go "femme fetale" |

Samadhi (effortless concentration)by msdoubletroubleComment: I tried to explain the 'zen' in the title. Since cats seem to have SUCH effortless concentration abilities. oh well...once again I should NOT do Sonya pics for Challenges..LOL I'm just SOOOOOOOOO misunderstood (laughs) |

Shelterby msdoubletroubleComment: aimee I love ya girl ;-) the shot is not cropped at all. not a great deal of PP. I'll have to redo it with your suggestions. Making my images "pop" is one thing I REALLY need to improve on. Also, I don't know WHY I do better at animal shots...guess it's cause I love em?shrugs.
This shot was taken from a moving trolly attached to a trailer, hand-held 100/400. I LOVED the steer and the shelter provided by the tree. |
