How exactly does this fit the challenge. I dont see it demonstrating the juxtaposition of old and new. Also, if you use a sheet for a background, its best to overexpose it by about 2 stops so that it's not distracting.

Nice idea, but snapshot quality (compositionally). Not trying to rip you....but if you had take it from a more interesting angle, or used some side lighting for a moody picture, it would have been a lot better. Keep this in mind for next time!
