    Biography: Hey DPC peeps! Here's a quick rundown of my life as a photog... Ever since I was about 5 years old I've always wanted to be a 'postcard guy', as I used to tell the folks. With all the vacations I embarked on as a kid, I'd always collect the most compelling postcards from the various places we'd go and think "man if I could only take pictures like that..." But it wasn't until high school that I got my hands on my first digital quasi-SLR camera, and I've never looked back since.

    Over the years since, I've traveled the world behind my lens. From trailing grizzly bears in the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska, to backpacking thru the Alps of Central Europe, to posting up in sub-zero temps next to 5-story snow jumps, I'm always in search of that perfect shot.

    I've showcased my art in several exhibitions, dabbled in weddings/portraiture, been the UCSB Snow Club's extreme sports photographer for the better half of my college career, freelanced for the Santa Barbara Independent, and gotten a half dozen or so shots published on to Jones Soda Bottles (haha one of my more entertaining claims to fame), among other things.

    I recently upgraded my photo outfit to a full-frame Canon 5D, and am in the process of vamping up my portfolio to ultimately make a career for myself in photography, my passion, hopefully w/ the help of you guys here at DPC!
