Took it with a 550ex and my transmitter put the flash to the right of him.
my grandpa used to knit alot ;)
The model is Pétur (nazgul) And he has a shirt strapped on his head

Well I guess you won't know who Spike Milligan is (was). Surrealist British comic genius who would have loved the masked knitter. Once, when he lost his dog, he put an advertisement in the local paper ... all it said was; "Here boy!"

Nice contrast and image thought. Among numerous pics that have people facing away from the camera or covered with clothes, you have a picture that shows a face yet is faceless. Nice work!

Great originality. I love the look and feel here.
One thing that bothers me, is the relationship between the cloth covered face and knitting.
A woolen mask would help bridge this...
