The natural stoneby lastefComment: With a different stone this lighting setup would have worked better, but this stone is complicated and I'd like to see more of a high key lighting setup. Nice job with the silver and dealing with the reflections though. |

Fidelityby ergoComment: Hmm. Something about this shot bothers me and I can't exactly put my finger on it. The whole image has a terrible yellow/red cast to it and definately could have used some color adjustment in photoshop. Also the composition makes the shot uncomfortable. The fingers look spread awkwardly and forcefully. With words like "trust" int he title I would like to see softer colors with a comfortable hand and the ring all the way on the finger. Tan line where the ring usually goes on the finger is pretty unfortunate as well. Sorry, just full of complaints. I doubt people are really giving you feedback, so I'd like to let it all spill and you can take what you want from it.
Happy shooting,
Chris A |

*by Moose101Comment: I would have liked a slightly larger depth of field, but this still works. Like the interesting red strip in the background. |

Elegant Vintage Jewelryby ladpupmoeComment: I wisht here was a little more light on the purple crystals to see more detail. Also the focus seems a little soft on the white jewelry. Nice background. |

A Portrait of An Artist by librodoComment: This is probably the best lighting and color tones I have seen in this whole challenge. Brilliant background choice and composition. I bet you'll be top 10 for sure if not a ribbon.
Good luck and Happy Shooting,
