You've got stars in your eyes...by tyrkinnComment: If you could have made those stars more out of focus it would have been better. They are a little distracting from your subject the way they are. |

Orchidsby aznymComment: Ok...mixed feelings. I liked the picture a lot at first. After closer inspection I noticed the odd blurry hazed around even the part of the flower that should be in focus. This could be over processing in post. I think your blue pedal could be a little sharper focused. Still a good shot...better tham many. |

redby grigrigirlComment: Nice job! Definately one of the better entries. You understand the concept and you've captured a redhead. Thats worth an extra point in my opinion! She is cute! Daughter? Girlfriend? Wife? Friend? Tell her you know another great photographer she should meet. :)) |

Ahoy There !by kevrobertsonComment: Nice bokeh but lacks creativity. This seems like a last minute desparate entry to me! You have the right idea with the bokeh, but I wish you had put a little more thought into the subject. A small wooden man dead center in the frame shows poor compositional skills and creativity. I know you can do better than that! |

roseby speaseComment: There is absolutely 100% no bokeh in this picture! Nice shot, but not apropriate. If you had capture these flowers in a garden with out of focus shapes in the background to enhance your subject, it could have worked. |

The Faceby SandyPComment: This is simply a shallow DOF. I dont think this is a great representation of bokeh. Maybe if the shaped of the out of focus background enhanced your subject, or the colors of the background helped your sebject stand out, but I almost think he gets lost int he similar colors behind him. Love the subject though! |
