Words Long Forgottenby MartinKempComment: This is well done! Great to see the human aspect in here - and you did it so well. Look how fast those fingers can type :-) WTG on your entry! |

Covered Bridgeby debapakaComment: Unfortunately, I think the sky and harsh light detracts from that beautiful bridge. I'd love to see this taken at another time of the day, when the sun shines more inside the bridge. The colors of the red bridge and green grass are nice. |

Old chimneyby greslizzzComment: The nearly total desat looks cool here - if you didn't have it, the "old" feeling would be much harder to get across, but what you've done works. Too bad that super modern car in in the shot though. The angle of view and leading lines are sweet! |

I hope this picture's to your lichen!by electinaComment: Even though the title is painfully cute ;-), I have to say I'd be 'lichen' a bit more ooomph. I find the composition a little dull, but it might not feel that way if there was more space on one side of the tree (rule of thirds might work well here). |

Old memories...by ZILAComment: This would be nice with a bit more punch in the black level, perhaps. Looks like you put some effort into the setup, but I do wish the colors and /or light had a bit more wow factor. |

Grandpa's Cameraby cutlassdude70Comment: Nice shot of the camera, but the watch confuses me a bit, especially with the title you've chosen. The quality of the image is sweet and old-timey - I like that aspect of this a lot. The light (other than the reflection glares) is really, really good. |

Cherub Unawareby SandyPComment: What a little doll! I'm so glad you added your definition of a candid to the author's notes, Sandy. It's a good reminder that it's not always possible to see whether an image meets the challenge definition. Sherpet posted other great examples from your portfolio of your candids... they're all telling a story, in my opinion. Nice job! |

It's a bit of old ... hat ... man ... transportby tonyvComment: Hey, I think I saw this on your PaD. Mike? What a beard on that guy! Wish we could see more of the donkey or donkies. For me, I think this would be improved as a landscape and a slightly less tight crop so the viewer could get more a sense of place from the whole scene. Cool capture, though! |

Vintage Deereby DrAchooComment: First ten for me for this round of voting! The colors are amazing and the unexpected look of the old tractor composed with the tulips makes this a winner in my book. |
