Midnight Redby SandyPComment: Sandy, you are so good! Congratulations on a wonderful, colorful image - that was a perfect zoo day, after all :-) I love the colors and crispness of this little bird. |

Wheeee!by lwiley212Comment: You've got some nice motion going on here with great sharpness everywhere else. Unfortunately, the image feels like it's too much, too gaudy, and misses some of the drama. My idea when viewing this is that it might be really effective in black and white or duotone. That might also help the dilema of the bright white light at left. I would've done the exact same left crop as you did, even with the light, since the "Playball" text is a good built-in title. |

Let's Salsaby vienComment: You're getting a 10 from me! This is subtle, artistic, and best of all, I feel like I'm part of the dance when I look at this. |

~ SPRING ~ by AlexSaberiComment: What a jump! A very young deer with lots of motion fits the challenge very nicely. The background looks almost like a pointillism painting. |

Speed Cameraby kevrobertsonComment: I think the concept is cool and the editing is really interesting (in a good way), but there's too much distraction in the background for me. Primarily, the distractions are all the sign and lamp posts. Even though the subject is wonderful ... it looks like a race! I just keep getting drawn back to the stuff in the background that doesn't belong there. Sorry. |

Auraby smilebig4me1xComment: Looks like a painting! This is so simple and creative. Would look nice framed on a wall. |

Take Offby pawdrixComment: This is perfect to me. The arrows in the road, combined with the angle make the shot unique and eye catching. They literally tell my eyes where to go. Definitely a 10 and nothing less! I also really like the high contrast and lack of distraction. Everything that's here should be here, which is something I learn from images like this. |

Busy Beeby YoungerComment: Nice color combination with the three colors purple, green, and yellow-orange. For me, this would be much more effective if either the bee were in focus or if the entire image were motion blur. Having the flowers in focus and nothing else feels more accidental to me that if it were the other way around. I really like how you've succeeded in framing the bee with the flowers. |

Friday Afternoon Rush Hourby ShaneBlakeComment: This is really wonderful! It feels like these cars are in the middle of an explosion. It's effective (and hard to figure out!) that the clouds are so still with all that other motion going on. I'm curious about what all the explosive pink is... trees in bloom or smoke? |
