Freedoms Spiritby ShecoyaComment: I like seeing her stomping away - so tough! Beautiful colors. Wish you could make the neighbors tear down that fence, though :-) |

Curiosityby JPRComment: U R brave. Yes, they look kind and very cute, but I would be running for my life :-) I was just charged by a herd of cows the other day while I was innocently trying to photograph a field. Goats, cows, and roosters scare the daylights out of me. Other than my biases, I want to leave this comment so you know that there is at least one more person who loves this shot. The curious look of these goats in their amazing environment really gets to me (in a good way). Makes me want to go to Colorado right this minute. |

passageby messerschmittComment: Talk about geometry! What a contrast-filled image this is. I like how it makes my mind a little crazy trying to figure out what's up, what's down, and what's sideways like a puzzle. |

c a t c hby messerschmittComment: Oooh, it's like a dream. My favorite part is the flowers to the right that the fish seems to be trying to swim toward. This is a very beautiful image. Oh man, I guess I'll have to fave it. The swirls of the window frame, screen, or whatever that is drive me to it. |

Computer Timeby CalliopeKelComment: You've got a gorgeous mom, Kelly - would be great to see her pose for some of your jazzed up portraits! I think both of these shots of her are nice. Ah, but now I miss my own ma back there in the states. Cool to see a picture of Fetor in the background! |

The Tao of Flightby L1Comment: Well now, Laurie, I have to apologize for my too hasty comment below. The forum thread about the results of this challenge brought me back for a second look. I apologize for my comment suggesting higher contrast when you actually intended for the contrast to be low.
Looking at the image a second time, it's easy for me to understand why you reduced the contrast. The low contrast contributes to the feeling of the bird being one with the water, and the water one with the bird. So I take back the contrast remark :-) Instead I suggest (and maybe just to protect my own dignity, heehee) that a black frame might have kept my eye in this subtle scene a bit longer, instead of just giving you a 5 and moving on. I stand by the positive parts of my comment below, though! Also, I really like the movement in the wing. Nice work and sorry for my looking too quickly during voting. |

Wokby Keith ManiacComment: Cute title :-) Nice shot, too. I'm impressed that you managed to keep the motion blur away from the people inside the restaurant while getting it on the person walking. |
