Kijkduin - beachby Arti-ElviComment: Oh, what wonderful toning! This is one of the most original compositions I've seen. I like it very much and have no criticism at all, no matter how hard I look. Great job! |

Hi Thereby EvaanComment: What an adorable seal! I like the image a lot, but suspect attention would be drawn to it even more if the frame and text were either black or white. The color conflicts with the image itself in my opinion. Good clarity on the water an bubbles. I like the way the seal is swimming out of the image to right. |

Great Falls National Parkby emaynerComment: Ah, for some reason this reminds me of my Perspective entry and I have the same comment on yours as what I'm getting there: this could use a tad more saturation to make it more dynamic and add to the drama. Yours is a much better image than mine, so please take my comments with a grain of salt. I like the drama of the turbulent water and as I inspect this image more closely, I see that there's quite a bit of interest in the sky too! So this would be a perfect candidate for higher saturation and maybe some curves to bring out contrast. Looks like a wonderful place! |

Alabama Shakespeare Festivalby shadowdoc31Comment: I'd lie to see this cropped so there were either more of the branch at the right or none of it. What I like is the reflection and the slightly off-center composition of the main entrance. Is it tilted slightly counter-clockwise? Another niggle I have is the blown out lights. I wonder how the image would be if it were darkened a bit? No idea, I'm just guessing that might the reflections stand out even more. |

Wish you were here!by permapierComment: Oh, I think this is really nice. The dof is especially fine. Good job with the composition, too. I like the subtle text. |

Treehuggers Welcome!by Army of nOneComment: Adorable little squirrel! These guys are tough to capture at their usual lightening speed - nice job getting this one. Great bokeh, too. |

by tateComment: What a great reflection! I'm not voting differently because of this, but I wish the text was sized so none of the museum's reflection were covered. |

Visit the World War II Memorial, Washington, DCby levyj413Comment: I like this a lot, except for the large blob of water. Also, the image is perhaps a bit too neat-imaged for my taste. What I like is the light (very nice!) and the colors of night time. There's a lot of good depth here as well. |

Postcard from Rhode Island, USAby dragonladyComment: I used to live right next to this!! I love the shot, but most of all, you can imagine how surprised I am to be sitting here in Sweden voting and see Pt. Judith lighthouse. Cool! Technically, this seems nearly perfect. There is a wonderful painterly quality going on -love the light on the door at the base of the lighthouse. Very nice job. Thanks for taking care with the text, too. It looks good. |
