 This was taken just about sunset at Point Judith Light in Galilee, RI; the ocean was reflecting the sun on the right and the sky was just beautiful with some interesting clouds and colors, plus, the light was on in the lighthouse... did not include a lot of the adjacent building in this photograph as I wanted to keep the image simple; almost wanted a watercolor feel...levels, very slight adjustment with curves, sponge tool to saturate the clouds at bottom of image, cloned out a couple of white lines in parking lot, dodged the sun side of lighthouse, usm, crop.

I think I've driven through RI once. :) Excellent timing. The clouds perfectly accent and highlight the lighthouse. Very well composed.

I used to live right next to this!! I love the shot, but most of all, you can imagine how surprised I am to be sitting here in Sweden voting and see Pt. Judith lighthouse. Cool! Technically, this seems nearly perfect. There is a wonderful painterly quality going on -love the light on the door at the base of the lighthouse. Very nice job. Thanks for taking care with the text, too. It looks good.

Very nice job with a simple composition - but it is strange about the Rhode Island at the bottom of the page - it seems out of focus! The Point Judith text seems fine though - very, very strange

Hello another fellow Rhode Islander. Considering it's the smallest state, Rhode Island did pretty well for itself in this challenge. You've done a fine job showcasing one of its gems. The script works well. Very nice job indeed!
