I just LOVE this picture. I adore the two circles and the angled line next to them. I love the colours. I just LOVE the massive white space above them. I love the DOF and the colour and the lighting and the background. I really really really like this:)

Nice idea, and like how pencil shaving sits in pool of light. Would like it with only table as background, not any of the gate/ ground etc which we can see. Also think wine glass needs to be fully enclosed in shot and more vertical. Very atmospheric idea which makes me think of writing travel journeys sitting in a quiet cafe or villa on holiday.

The pencil feels like an add-on just to get it into the photograph.
I am not keen on the composition, I'd be interested in knowing how you made your decisions about what to include (the toilet/ kitchen roll on top) and what to exclude (the rest of the photo at the bottom).
On a visual level this photo just doesn't attract me, but I do applaud everyone for entering, and hope I am not too discouraging.

Those are fantastic hands, they'd make a great study in their own right, with nothing else, just them on a really plain background. Like this, would like to see it with the wooden plan at more of a diagonal angle from top right to bottom left.
