This reminds me of those photos all the tourists take of themselves "holding up" the Eiffel Tower or Leaning Tower of Pisa! I like it! It's silly and yet includes a stunning landscape. I like how low it sits in the frame, with all that expanse of sky above it.

I have no idea what the picture is of and at first that put me off. After a couple more viewings I decided I liked the texture and colours so much it totally didn't matter what it was (if anything). It's a great background.

Colourful, sort of abstract-ish, pretty. Would like a whiter background, and a more even distance between the sets of two. The middle set feels like it should be over to the left a bit. This matters (for me) on this shot because it's so highly graphical, like a repeating set.

I really like the detail in the hand - Hey I can even see the grime under the nail ;)
I also like that there is no desk showing - that it's close enough in that the exam paper makes the whole of the background and yet it's actually foreground at the same time! Also like the way the (2) on the pencil is so carefully positioned.

Like colours, think background green really adds something. Feels unbalanced, too heavy to the left, perhaps because the pencil doesn't touch the edge of the frame but the shavings do. I like the way that only a tiny bit of the text remains on the pencil, just enough to give an abstract pattern, nothing more.

Interesting idea, nice composition using the angles of the pencil and the lines within the sketch. A little two monotone for, but that's purely personal preference.
