How does your garden grow?by MeggieComment: This is a clever idea and I like that you've had to take on photo for use as the "plant" information card within this one. Composition doesn't quite work for me. Are there outtakes with differing compositions? Would like to see any. 5, Kavey |

pencil, hi key studyby lecookComment: I tend not to like photos where the interest is based solely on what is written on something within the photo, but this one caught my eye before I even read it. It's very emotional even without reading the text. I love the fading (stronger lighting?) at the top left and the way the rings are cropped just there. 8, Kavey |

A matter of Perspectiveby NitenComment: Generally I am not keen on the shots where the actual text makes the point (just my preference), but like the composition regardless of what the text is. 5, Kavey |

classicby aelithComment: Pretty though a little too dark (I imagine it's deliberate). Too much black space at bottom for me, would have preferred more at top than bottom. 5, Kavey |

A Sharp Pointby AgamemnonComment: I like this very much - would score higher if all the verticals were true vertical within the frame. 6, Kavey |

Angelby BAMartinComment: I think this is lovely in layout and a feel-good photo. For me the shadow beneath the wing is too dark compared to the strong light coming from behind his head. 6, Kavey |

A Pencil Starby rocco22Comment: I love the idea and composition of this, which is where it gets the score from. Technically I find it a little dark, could do with more light and more vibrancy of colour. Is the graininess deliberate affect? Wasn't sure. 6, Kavey |

The Pencil That Wasby fas-ligandComment: Like the DOF and the way the cutting thingy comes out towards you like that. Reminds me of a childhood snake toy thing, and the composition and shapes and so on just appeal. I am not really sure why but I do like it. :) 6, Kavey |

Lunchby millerComment: Original idea and I love the way the broken pencils show the "bite" mark. Would try and lose the dark edge at the top left and the knife, or put it with the fork, where it is it just looks like a dark line. 5, Kavey |
