Final Approachby NuzzerComment: That's an impressive storm cloud coming in with the little plane bravely landing through it but the processing seems to be rather overdone with the strangest yellowy-green outline along the edge of that white sky opening at the right. The sunlight on the grass provides lovely colour richness. |

As Night Approachesby freakin_hilariousComment: Wow, that's an amazing contrast between a city falling into darkness, with lights ablaze, and the ocean and sky, still so full of the day's last light. |

Hordeum spontaneum by kiwinessComment: Lovely use of natural light and I love the warm tone of the image. The pose, bent forward as she is, looks dreadfully uncomfortable. Eye contact is nice. |

White Birdby dsrayComment: What a wonderfully relaxing image. That one single bird makes such a perfect focal point, though I wish it were a touch sharper given that it is the focal point. |

Joyby scooter88Comment: That eye contact is just wonderful and the expression so genuine I can't help but smile back! |

Sunset Silhouetteby MollyComment: Colours seem strongly overprocessed leading to a particularly odd posterisation at the edge between the top dark band and the pink clouds. Composition and content are otherwise good. |

Focused Flightby SimmsComment: Beautiful detail, wonderful background colours, great composition (the way the wings are cropped out doesn't bother me and infact it serves to make the portrait seem that much more intimate). Really nice job! |

This is Our Countryby BlackboxComment: I like the portrait composition and the way that the vastness is made evident by the haze-faded distant rocks. The silhouetted tourists provide the perfect focal point. |

Canon EF Lensby LydiaComment: Nice image but the processing makes it look like two separate images have been combined together when I'm sure that's not the case. It's the dark halo around the insect that particularly looks "wrong". But compositionally I like it. |

Curvesby chefsamComment: Black and white really emphasises the wonderful light and shadow shapes. |
