Rest in Piscesby MWittComment: First thing I'd do is lose the top inch and have only water as the backdrop. Image quality doesn't seem that good. Photo does convey restful nap but isn't hugely interesting to me - a nice image but not one I'd want to buy/ display. |

Not You Againby ppritcheComment: One of the nicer pet shots - beautiful composition, nice backgrounds (with interesting, complimentary colours and texture). Lighting a little harsh. |

Fargoby CamComment: Unusual perspective and composition. Lighting lets it down for me. Although I like the idea of some empty space I'm not sure the impact of that wall adds anything on this occasion. |

What a life...by agwrightComment: Perfectly acceptable pet photo but doesnt _wow_ as an image in it\'s own right. Would I buy this for my wall/ as a postcard etc if I saw it outside of this challenge? Probably not. Cat looks awfully familiar though? But if it\'s the cat I know I\'m wondering why the head isn\'t upside down tucked half under... :D |

Neon babyby mweintrComment: Interesting image. Can't decide whether I like the effect or not but since it's undecided that's not an immediate no! I do like the composition/ position. |

The Dreamcatcherby ChezComment: This is absolutely superb and one of the strongest entries I've seen on DPC for a long time. Nicely coloured, good use of grain, strong verticals and horizontals make for strong composition, screams the challenge theme but so much more besides that...

Freedom is... seeing a light....by Apollo2077Comment: I'm not sure I understand the message but I like the image much more than I expected to from the thumbnail. Such a beautiful elipse... strangely mesmerising. |

Freedom of speechby kostiaComment: The message here is more powerful (for me) than the image itself. Well said though! |

Live Onby ImagineerComment: What a creative and unusual image! I really like the ghostly aspect of the arms and faces and the colour tones too. I love the darkness in most of the image and find the white area below off putting. Nevertheless I like the idea and much of the execution of this very much. |

Soarby KonadorComment: Another evocative alternative to the patriotic and heartfelt 911-related images. This reminds me very much of Jonathan Livingstone Seagull by Richard Bach. |
