Slippery by TechnoShroomComment: I like the idea very much - mirroring the sign with the light trail is very clever. I think overall composition is a little weak and there are too many distracting items in the background. A similar idea on a less cluttered patch of road would have been even stronger. |

Cubes and arrowsby mannjuditComment: Very strong composition, great use of repetition and diagonals. Nice shadows. Strong image. |

The Thin Blue Lineby GeneralEComment: The low viewpoint, unusual angle/ composition, interesting diagionals and strong use of colour all combine to make this one of my favourite entries in this challenge. |

Fountain of Youth by dsa157Comment: Ditto, apologies for referring to your son as a female! Hope he's not too put out! A well deserved ribbon for a superb image! |

Dead in Decemberby DCThiessenComment: This is a strking landscape though lighting/ weather conditions aren't at their best in terms of really making the image stand out. Although the overcast feel is interesting I think a more obviously stormy sky (or perhaps a fine weather day) would lead to a more memorable result. Composition also doesn't feel 100% balanced to me - the tree is too close to centre to be off-centred but too far from centre to be centred. Please feel free to ignore this comment as I appreciate that it's somewhat rambling in nature!!! |

On Tip-toesby FranziskaLangComment: This is a beautiful image. The slightly muted colours really support the last moments of life nature of the content. And the composition works very well. |

Hang 10by shareinncComment: Nice motion capture - I like how the white surf is frozen. Lovely colour in the water. Not so keen on position of surfer - from this angle the lower part of his body is hidden such that the overall "shape" doesn't look right. I also think the angle of the sun to his face means it's in too much shadow. Composition feels a touch unbalanced, I'd prefer more space above him and a touch less to his left so he's more off centred but the distance between the edges of the top, left and bottom frames from him are about equal. If that doesn't make sense let me know, it's past my bed time! |

Christmas Gearsby CatherineComment: This is very cool - I like the way the motion of the ball is balanced by the still pine needles. A nice seasonal study. |

Dino Dinnerby drgsoellComment: He he! Nicely done and the lines between tarmac, shrub-dotted earth and cloudy sky add interest too! |
