Thanks so much for that :) - I didn't realize the effect was so subtle and was disappointed because I really quite liked this photograph and took some considerable effort setting it up.

It's a good lesson in subjectivity, though. Next time I'm getting a second opinion before I post to a challenge :)

I think you submitted into the wrong challenge, this is Action shots, not tacky Christmas decorations.

This is very cool - I like the way the motion of the ball is balanced by the still pine needles. A nice seasonal study.
