This remains my favourite Antarctica photo.

Up Close and Personalby fantomfotoComment: Goodness, yes, in answer to your comment box, the green is VIVID. Can you see if when you view the image from another monitor? We're not talking subtle here, it's dayglo! :)
I like the natural colour though processing makes it seem kind of soft focus and the close-up doesn't really speak wild to me, it shouts zoo zoo zoo!
But BIG improvement on the green!

Refractionby gmarblestoneComment: Very serene. That tree stump is a perfect focal point. I also really like the horizon being on the centre line, that's unusual and creates an odd tension. |
