An absolutely charming portrait. This really strikes me as very professional, very intriguing, highly individualistic and just the kind of work I could see hanging in some top notch art gallery. It's wonderful! Only -ve = the blow out on the wall to the right which could be corrected with a little spot editting after the challenge if you wanted.

Something stark and soft about this portrait all at once. The pose and the light in his/ her eyes is so tender. The rich black background and the texture in the material give a starkness too. Wonderful portrait.

Very intimate crop - excellent composition within the frame. Something about the eyes bothers me - I want to see into them more clearly yet there's a reflection on the one to the right of the frame which doesn't look right.
