 Welcoming our new son, Nolan, into the world born Oct. 26, 2004.

Natural light from bedroom window. Levels adjustment, curves adjustment, unsharp mask, converted to greyscale then duotoned. Added border and resized.


A reworked version of this can be found in my portfolio. I realized it was a little soft to begin with so decided to take it to the next level but it wasn't within the open challenge rules. Thanks for all the comments!

Something stark and soft about this portrait all at once. The pose and the light in his/ her eyes is so tender. The rich black background and the texture in the material give a starkness too. Wonderful portrait.
