The Perfect Storm #1by dsidwellComment: Another image which works well with high saturation. Simplicity of colours is what makes this one work for me - it's almost like a modern Mondrian landscape - a block of grass green, a block of yellow with a curved block of tree green on top and a large block of dark blue with a splosh of white. Lovely! |

The Perfect Storm #2by dsidwellComment: Beautiful light, lovely golden orange tone to it. Creates wonderful lines on the ground as well as making that three look like a jeweller's sculpture. The dark sky makes a wonderful and slightly menacing backdrop to that. Wonderful! |

The Perfect Storm #3by dsidwellComment: Beautiful light, as you say. I like the saturation levels here - they really bring out the light, the dark and the majestic landscape and clouds. |

Blossom in greenby digitalpleasureComment: Lovely vibrant, rich background, beautifully out of focus and with lovely variations in shade. Border really lets this down for me as it makes the flower feel oddly cut off rather than simply out of frame. |

Three Peasby dsa157Comment: What strangely coloured peas! Quirky, well composed, well presented. |

Soaring in the heavensby snackwellsComment: Lovely sense of scale achieved by being daring and including only a sliver of land to balance that wonderful cloud formation. |

The key to life is to find the key to life of the key, o'key?by bergwaltersComment: What a fascinatingly strange image! Not only is the content bizaare but there is also some strange feeling of the ground being at an angle which puts me off balance. Compositionally too the image succeeds at putting the viewer off-kilter as the key sits neither on a third line nor centred but in a position refreshingly out of the ordinary. Sharpness of focus on the key itself could be better but... altogether a very interesting image! |

Farm Fresh!by richabhatiaComment: Not sure the noise adds anything to this shot - the modern look is not one that lends itself to the grainy look. I like the composition, it has the right balance of white space to subject matter. White background could be more evenly lit. |
