I'm not quite sure how this will fly with the DPC gang. I'm not sure the two little birds are enough of a focus point and thus will probably get voted down, but should be interesting.

I think I would have liked this more with only one bird. Like the clouds over the desolate-looking land.

Beautiful blue tone. The clouds really pop out. 8

relative positioning of bird and cloud not quite right. otherwise, good one.

Tough time identifying subject. The clouds are overpowering.

Great technical work, amazing you got it this good with standard editing

For me this could have been improved by cropping the bottom. Just my opinion and obviously you have intentionally chosen to leave it in (photography is so subjective...), but otherwise I love the tones in the upper portion of the frame.

Nice Duotone? shot. The clouds outweigh the birds a little too much though. 5

I like how you work on this picture and I love it, but as minimalism the bird is probably to little but the picture in general is so good that one might not dwell too much on that issue.

Lovely sense of scale achieved by being daring and including only a sliver of land to balance that wonderful cloud formation.

Meets challenge definition. 0 don't want to sound mean here but if I didn't know what the rules were I would say this image is about the clouds.
Meets definition of minimalism. 10 I believe this image puts in simple visual terms what sea and sky can say to the viewer.
Technical. 4 Not enough clarity on the ocean horizon and lots of artifacts.
Artifact. 8 I love this image and only wish it had the detail mentioned above working for it. I like the mino tone color and admire anybody who can get a striagh horizon line. If I were you I would do a study of clouds.
Average score.....

i like how you treated the colors and left just a little piece of water to show the horizon line.

I did not feel the bird was strong enough subject but the awesome clouds do it.

Nice clouds. Very well done. I'm not sure, though that I like the green...perhaps blue? 9

Very well done photo. Beautiful lighting and composition. Lots of photos with this same concept in the challenge but I think this one is the best execution of the concept.

beautiul photo but I don't really get attracted to the bird as the suject - maybe the clouds are too impressive. Great photo but maybe not for this challenge?

Wow, cool tones in this shot. Lovely image. Like the seagull (although I think it would be better if there was only one). I love seascape! =)

I really like the mood of this image (maybe you should have saved it for the mood challenge ;-) I wish the subject were a little stronger though.
