Surprised to see this ranked so low, I think it's a really nicely executed image.

very cool perspective.

Very creative, I would have preferred the focus on the cut rather than the end of the blade, but that's just me! 7

Nice colours but I think a little more of it needs to be in focus.

I find the shallow DOF distracting

I like it! The color tone is great. 9

I liked this shot but IMO I think it needs a little more DOF

nice soft touch to this one. Good Job

I thought I'd slit my wrists if I saw another pair of scissors, but I'm really liking both the perspective, and shallow depth of field. This is actually an image I enjoyed looking at!

the DOF seems a bit shallow for this shot IMHO

Love the blur, love the color, love the simplicity. Beautifully done image. Great imagination, great composition, crop, etc. Given the absolute simplicity of the idea, I would have cleaned and polished the scissor blade and reshot. That's the only (minor) complaint. Good entry!

I love your purple tone. It makes the picture!

Nice abstract image and great use of DOF but where's the rock?
04/20/2005 10:16:05 AM
Interesting perspective, but I can't see any focus point ....

I would like this better if it was in focus
