Edby DennisheckmanComment: Quite beautiful. You demonstrate great respect and affection for the photograph as well as for the subject. 10. Thank you. You're also stuck with an Order of the Thumb, and no returns allowed I'm afraid.

guardian angelby jagarComment: Yes. Salut! ... from one lover of street photography to another (and there's no question about that) ... it's a wonderful street shot right from the modern classic school. Beautifully observed, and perfectly rendered (by which I mean you didn't f**k it up with too much damn photography). 10, thank you, and the dreaded Order of the Thumb as well.

Mama's Boyby instepsComment: Nearly falls apart, but then the disembodied hand somehow holds everything together.
I love street photography above all other kinds, and I have to say this is immensely ambitious because it's not quite as sharply observed as the classics of the genre (which tend to share a lot in common with good political or social commentary cartoons).
Your picture is more sophisticated and demanding, and probably no better off for that! But the fabulous hand rescues you from obscurity and confusion. Now I wish I could insert a hand in this comment somewhere, to perform the same rescue service for me. Maybe posthumous will give you one. I'm giving you a 7+ score and a thank you. |

ag stealladh báistíby NiallOTuamaComment: I had to look it up. I think it means pissing down? Sounds much more fun your way though, and it's a very interesting, lively, anti-boring picture as well. It's definitely a 7+ from me. Go raibh maith agat. (I had to look that up, as well) |

my soul to take by MadMan2kComment: Seems like you have been photobombed by René Magritte. Thanks to you both for a very interesting, amusing photograph. Into my 7+ selections you go, and you can take that René fellow with you as well. If he behaves himself. |

My mother by lei_73Comment: More than one bite of the obscura biscuit here, and each bite delicious too. Into my 7+ score gallery. Thank you. |

direct lightby cutoutComment: Simple but interesting. And it's a wee tribute to photography itself as well. So not boring, which makes it an automatic 7+ score from me. Thank you. |

that joy you bring by jmritzComment: Oh no, not you again. Well, the title is apt not just for this picture but for your whole lot as one big fat slippery
joyful bundle. It's a 7+ from me, as ever. Thank you. |

Alyssaby MadMan2kComment: You did great, Man. I know I told you I don't much like commenting after challenge results are announced, but rules are made to be broken. I think odriew's correct about your skyline; should be one thing or the other. If I scroll that bit out the top of my monitor, the picture becomes stronger. You are doing some very good stuff, and making great comments. My compliments and respects on both counts. Thank you. |
