Holy smoke, that's terrific! I suspect you have figured out that I have a great romance with unexpected and unusual crops. This reminds me of a horse I once treated with similar savagery. What I love about this is that it causes the viewer to be instantly curious and to think unconventional, surprising thoughts. And those are the thoughts that I love. Thank you.

Lovely dog, beautifully photographed. This gentle, understated photograph is so much more emotive than would be anything more unequivocal. Than anything more typical, I mean. You may have been just letting your hair down for the purposes of this challenge, but this is a stand-out lovely pet portrait in my view. The things withheld, or at least not emphasised or exaggerated, are what makes it so good I reckon. Bravo you! Thank you.

Crikey, that's a lovely doggy picture. I much prefer this kind of offhand shot to the ones where the dog is posed and primped like a supermodel. I suppose the histogram for this would look pretty negligent, which just goes to show how little truly important information histograms convey ... nothing about character, nothing about emotion, nothing about anything real and imperishable. Here is a connection, dog with human, sketched in with a few deft lines. And it soars! Thank you.

My goodness that is a striking bird! Hope you will say what it is in your notes. It's good (for me at least) to not see the whole thing, because it allows some speculation about the obscured bits. I'm trying to imagine the beak shape. Nope, I got nothin'. No bad thing. Thank you.

That's very nice; the apt accidental juxtaposition is great fun, but what I like most is the wires, which look like someone has scribbled disapproving lines through the whole thing. Not me though; I approve. Thank you.

Remarkable shot! And I love all those street marks, especially with the drive-through smears and the puzzling U-turn marks where a bike (or two) have had a wise second thought about the deluge.The lemon yellow portal at upper right appears to be Batman's place. So this must be Gotham? It's great fun, and lovely to look at too. Thank you.

That's funny, although probably I'm the only one who gets the reference. All my favourite stuff is there: grain, gloomy mood, dark dark corners, and a WTF combination. I got a welcome chuckle out of this, and I thank you.

Awesome! What a juxtaposition! I almost never say what I'd have done (what do I know?) but as the exception that proves the rule I'd have eased back on the peripheral blur, just a wee bit. But this is more than a once-in-a-lifetime shot opportunity, and you have done a great job of it. Thank you.

Nicely uncertain, with the foreground grass and the even light making it authentically environmental rather than an unequivocal zoo-style portrait. You feel something about the critter, when it's photographed like this. It's a deer of some kind presumably? Looks a lot like a female waterbuck though. Anyway I like environmental wildlife pictures, so than you.
