Bursting with Flavorby lcfourstarComment: There you go! This is fun. What - practicing for some commercial shoots? ;^) Is this two images combined in PS or did you set it up this way to use the sky for bg? Either way - it's a great shot. |

Drink anyoneby lcfourstarComment: This is a fun photo. Trying to determine if you used a mirror or not? One thing I wish is that the DOF was a little longer - I want that first glass to be in focus. Cool...keep smiling! |

Sunflower on the Plainsby JeremyFleuryComment: It's an optical illusion! ;^) I think he's right...

DSCF0233.jpgby JeremyFleuryComment: I like this one better. Agree on the stem...needs to go. I would also bump the contrast a few notches on the entire image here. Another consideration is to push the shadows a bit darker and bring up the highlights (maybe midtones instead). Great idea with the composition!
Have fun and keep smiling! |

Sunflower on the Plainsby JeremyFleuryComment: The background is a bit distracting and since its' already blurred some why not try and add a little more gaussian blur to it? See what it looks like anyway...
Might want to boost the contrast a few notches on the flower. I've found that my Z3 shoots a bit flat (camera setting are at default - would rather correct in post-processing than in-camera).
SJ is right about the horizon...the tower in the back is tilted to the right a couple of degrees. |

The Illusion od a Summer showerby PixelstateComment: Chris - You know this could make a fun print. Have you considered taking the desat outer area and lowering the opacity some (I'm assuming you still have it available in layers) - where it is almost ghostlike in appearance? You would need to add additional border space to allow for framing (especially on the bottom left).
Just a thought. BTW, I've enjoyed the stir your post about this image has created. ;^) |

1978by saloonstudiosComment: Too bad your reflection had to show in the fender and bumper. Cool car, and nice angle to the image otherwise. |

1977by kmbr2001Comment: Great album! ;^) Nice use of space in your composition. Like your choice of B/W to set the mood. The pose looks a bit forced (I think the album would be a bit tipped back if held naturally while walking). Good luck in the challenge. |
