This is a interesting photo. The background is spooky, almost sinister, which provides a nice foil to the sunflower.

It's an optical illusion! ;^) I think he's right...

Excellent shot! looks good with selective desat. The folded petal is the ket to this one. The tower is almost dead straight (drag the photo to the side of you monitor and use the edge of the screen as a straight edge), I think the leaning tree just makes it look crooked. I wouldn't change that.

The background is a bit distracting and since its' already blurred some why not try and add a little more gaussian blur to it? See what it looks like anyway...

Might want to boost the contrast a few notches on the flower. I've found that my Z3 shoots a bit flat (camera setting are at default - would rather correct in post-processing than in-camera).

SJ is right about the horizon...the tower in the back is tilted to the right a couple of degrees.

Very nice - I would straighten the horizon line a tad (at least it looks slightly off to me based on the tower), otherwise looks good!
