Going Nowhereby lynnmarieComment: Great environment/setting for this shot. Sky is almost to the point of being too grainy. Sorry if that's one of my first observations, but it jumps out at the viewer initially. Centered composition? Some will like it, some won't. I find it fits this photo just fine. Good luck in the challenge. |

Dry martini - Shaken, Not Stirredby deacueductoComment: You're going to really wish you cleaned the mirror by the time this challenge is done with votes/commenting. :D Nice take on the challenge theme. Couple of hotspots from the strong lighting, but a pleasing image nonetheless. Good luck in the challenge. |

Little Giantby Ne0nComment: Love the expression on his face and certainly fits your choice. Technically, the composition is "ok". Not that you could change this candid moment, but the boy to the right does distract some. The monitor I'm using isn't the best here today...looks like this photo could use a small boost in contrast. JMO of course. Best of luck in the challenge. |

Found Missingby HaneckComment: This is a tough one. I'm not really getting the connection. Sorry. As for the image, it's composed ok, but seems a bit too dark. |

"Pretty Ugly"by sallyjo1Comment: Yikes. She looks like the poster child for spousal abuse or something. Kind of disturbing. If I cover the left half of her face I can see the pretty part. Too bad you couldn't get a crooked smile to enhance the effect. The bra strap is distracting, should go without perhaps, or use a different shirt on that shoulder? Focus seems a little too soft around her eyes. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

controlled chaosby ursulaComment: What the ??? Looks like a childs handiwork, on a wall, with some motion blur. Very abstract in nature. Seems more like a graphic than a photograph. Hmmm. Good luck in the challenge. |

Woody's Houseby trina101Comment: 11th place is pretty darn good, but DANG, thought for sure there was a ribbon waiting to hung on this one.
Certainly a shot to be proud of. Well done! |

Proud Papaby SJCarterComment: Thought for sure you were going to use the Red Hat ducks you mentioned. :D Fooled me! Thought maybe Andrew submitted this one.
Side note. Shutter speed 1/4000? Then I noticed the ISO of 800...no wonder. Skip had you twisting around all those settings didn't he? :P |

Dirt roadby pitsamanComment: Gorgeous color, and nice leading lines. What's around the bend? Interested viewers want to know! :D The overcast skies worked in your favor here as it really makes those colors POP.
Smile and keep having fun! :P |
