 This week I had the experience of a life time, visiting remote villages in the mountains of Papua New Guinea. This image is of a small boy from the village of Wia Wia. I zoomed in to 250mm and took a seat on the steps of the helicopter to take some photos of the unaware children. This boy looked straight at me and raise his tiny bow and arrows. I had so many images from this week but none which would fit the catergories. I cropped and tweaked with curves only.

I really like the composition of the boy and the arrows. I think the background boy in red may be a bit distracting, though. I know you need to capture the moment when you can, but I do like the out of focus of the lower left person in the blue hat. Too bad that right person snuck in while you were shooting.

I like it, you have captured the warrier spirit of this young man, you can just see it in his eyes which are nicely framed in the bow. It would have been really nice to get the shot with out the distraction of the other people.

fairly good oxymoron. Composition is a bit "snapshot" with centered subject and random people in the background. Lighting is flat. 5

Love the expression on his face and certainly fits your choice. Technically, the composition is "ok". Not that you could change this candid moment, but the boy to the right does distract some. The monitor I'm using isn't the best here today...looks like this photo could use a small boost in contrast. JMO of course. Best of luck in the challenge.
