Vasco da Gama Bridgeby De SousaComment: Wow. This is very nice. Crisp, clear, wonderful image. Love the sky and the lighting overall. Exceptionally well done. The font type works well up top, the bottom left I'm not sure. I'd wish you luck, but somehow I don't think you need it. :D |

Denverby UNTITLEDComment: Good timing to catch the lights just coming on. How did this scene look 10 minutes later? Just curious. Nice work overall. Good luck. |

Everyone's Welcomeby lentilComment: Almost a bit too wordy I think. It takes away from the photo IMO. First impression is this reminds me a little of those motivational poster/prints you see, which is a compliment I think. :D Pleasing image. I like how you've included the foreground rocks. The background hill and shoreline aid the viewer with a nice set of leading lines. Overall, quite nice. Good luck in the challenge. |

Wave Jumpersby EmerkazaComment: It's a cute pic, but what's the postcard connection? Wait, I know, it's generic - good for any beach! Clever. :D Good luck in the challenge. |

Kansas Sunsetby lynnmarieComment: Trying to get the exposure right with a setting sun can sometimes be challenging. Since most of this photo is in silhouette already you may have been better suited to wait another 3 or 4 minutes to let that sun hotspot sink down a little farther. JMO of course. Now please don't take this the wrong way, but isn't there a viewpoint someplace that would be a little more dramatic and representative of 'Kansas'? A postcard should make you want to learn more about what it represents IMO. This looks like the backyard of many a subdivision home anywhere in the world. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck in the challenge. |

Along the Waterfrontby skewsmeComment: This works fine for a postcard. Nice job of processing the sky in the background. Where is the red/orange glow coming from, the sunset/sunrise? It's almost too much, like this had the color saturation pushed a little too far maybe? Just an observation. Overall, nicely done. Good luck in the challenge. |

Spearman, Texasby bsatttuComment: :D This is pretty cool! What are they, lawn ornaments? I like the way you've put this together having the main (largest) windmill in the top left and leaving a little negative space in the top right third. I know that text isn't "required" for a postcard, but personally I think it adds to one. You might be getting dinged a bit for that in scoring. JMO of course. BTW, nice job on resizing this and sharpening correctly. Good luck in the challenge. |

Autumn Sunsetby Bear_MusicComment: Wonderful color tones here in this photograph. Very nice indeed. Certainly is a photo that can stand on it's own merit. I could see this in a local tourist shop for sure, both as a postcard AND a poster! :D Best of luck to you in the challenge. |
