Match made in Heavenby silverscreenComment: Now that is some sweetness! Very clean and crisp, yet detailed and not NI'd to death. Lovely composition and very well done! Good luck in the challenge. |

Five On Fireby ranmComment: This is a tough one. If you're going to enter a shot that you (should) know is going to be well represented, it helps to take a unique approach. If not, the photo needs to be crisp and clean. This is a little bit too noisy/grainy to hit even an average score I'm afraid. All JMO of course. Good luck to you in the challenge. |

Matchbook Texturesby banmornComment: Some pretty fine details here. Amazing what things look like up close sometimes. :D This is certainly interesting to look at. Too bad about that straggling hair up top. :) Good luck in the challenge. |

The Eternal Relationby abhraComment: I'd love to know what your shutter speed was. Whatever it was, it wasn't enough to catch that cute tail! :D Just kidding. I think that tail blur brings this photo alive for the viewer. Without the blur it would be a cute shot. With the blur it makes you smile. Nicely seen and captured. The B/W treatment was a good choice as well. Good luck in the challenge. |

Faded Glory (after the Match)by RevoltComment: I get the impression you were going for a spotlight effect? That would probably work well with this subject, but the lighting you used seems a little harsh, perhaps if you diffused it some...? Another thing to consider is the ISO setting on your camera. There is a lot of noise in this photo when really there shouldn't be for this kind of setup. JMO of course. :D The subject you picked has potential as this pair of shoes has character. A little more attention to detail and your score would probably climb on this considerably. Anyway...best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Ghost? by dreamyComment: Ok. Now I've seen my fair share of matchsticks, smoke, multiple flame shots in this challenge. I have to say that this is the most enticing thus far, of course I still have 100+ to go yet. :D I really like the way you composed this and the exposure and use of light on the smoke is outstanding. Nicely done. |

Stowawayby Art RoflmaoComment: But the box says Muncie, IN 47305. :D That's what you get for having such a finely detailed, well focused image! Cute. Good luck. |

Size Mismatchby OmniComment: The metal shavings are a nice touch, as is the soft reflection. Nicely done. |
