This is a superbly atmospheric shot. The use of the morning rays cutting through the mist outside the window is great. DOF is spot on; the soft focus background and crispness of the foreground subject hold the attention while, at the same time, being pleasing on the eye. The balance of high and low contrast is spot on, it looks early, it looks real and it hasn't got a 'Set up' feelâ€Â¦ Great shot – worthy 10â€Â¦ Good luckâ€Â¦

This is inventiveâ€Â¦ It's also a great shot. And yes, we can all identify with the message. I think it'd do well even if it was a poor picture - but it isn't. It's sharp, the lighting is superb and it's great use of macro. This is without doubt, a superb picture. It has the lot, and it’s not an easy shot. My only gripe has nothing to do with the technical nature – that cannot be faulted – but the challenge link is a bit week. But that seems a bit pedantic considering the quality of the picture.
