This is a great picture of a very cute child and as portraits go, I don't think it can be faulted. The use of B&W is greatâ€Â¦ I don’t have any problem with the picture but perhaps the challenge link is a little weaker – in my perception at any rate – than it could have beenâ€Â¦ I know that’s a matter for debate, and I hope the shot does well despite my opinionâ€Â¦ (7)

Great shot, great ideaâ€Â¦ I have only a couple of small gripes; the shot seems – to me - a little over exposed, which is causing the shot to lose definition and, perhaps, closer cropping would also have helped the shot. Hope that doesn't sound too pedanticâ€Â¦ Good luckâ€Â¦

This is a great shot in many respects– composition is spot on, and it doesn't look posed. My only beef is with the lighting. The flash has created a rather harsh glare and perhaps a bounced flash would have given it winning appealâ€Â¦
