Novemberby dwolffComment: This exposure depicts waning summer light and cooler autum skies beautifully. I might have wanted to see a little more clear sky in the the top-left corner - just for "balance" and to give a more "cool" effect over the warm autum colours of the leaves. An an easy 8. Well done. |

Ballroom Dancing in Decemberby claudia26Comment: Nicely composed, good shadows. A little vague for a general callendar yet meaningful amoung certain groups. I'm scoring this 8 based purely on composition and execution. I feel you deserve it. |

November Trainby frumoazniculComment: This train has about as much novemeber as it's gonna take eh? :) This is very well done. Difficult to say, but I think I'd like the frame set a little higher - maybe to set the vertical center of the front of the train (including chimney) just below frame center? But hey - excellent use of colour filtering makes up for that ten fold. 9. |

August in Zionby sagestudioComment: I'm not sure the title would suit a United States callendar, but the title combined with the depth of field, stark colours and slightly "over-exposed" firey red do make this picture a powerful statement! Besides that, I think the image alone is striking enough for someone's callendar. An easy 7. (I'm a Kwi btw) |

Novemberby photographistComment: This is a very nice effort imo. The balance of dock to water is just right. The near/left tree and curvature/angle of the far shore communicate depth very well. The time of day was perfect to get the reflective sky colours off the water. But... I feel the trees are screaming to have not had quite so much of their tops cropped off. but for the cropping, I would have given this a 9. I'm happy with an 8. |

Octoberby TressiderComment: This is very nicely framed, but it somehow lacks clarity and communication of season - despite the melting snow on the hills. The cropping is good, exposure seems right, but there's a lack of depth and realism somehow. Perhaps some experimentation with aperture and focus if possible? The balance of sky to ground is perfect and I like the mirrored arcs of the tree line to mountain saddle making this a good composition overall. 6. |

Januaryby marboComment: Quite simply breath-taking scenery, perfect for a callendar. The image does seem industrial and flat - a commication perhaps fitting for the middle of winter. The warm sepia skies look rather out of place however. Perhaps blues have a place here after all? This contrast gives the image an abstract feel, perhaps more suitable for an art book I feel. |

Novemberby JondorComment: Perfect callendar picture here! Clean, simple, communicative, dimensionally and spatially brilliant frankly. The frame sets this picture off perefectly. Well done! 10. |
