Hi greetings from the CC, this shot has potential I think it could of been made much more dramatic by a black background vs. white. It would of made the boa stand out vs. getting lost into the background not to mention would of tied in the bottom of the shot. I would of given a little more room around the shoes, more room for them feet to move : )
hope that helps

Great studio work. My only nit-pik is that I think I may have found it more engaging as a larger canvas with the shoes taking up less of the frame.

You've certainly achieved a sense of texture here, though I'm not convinced about the cpmposition as a whole. The light is good, the organisations of subject ... less good, for me. Can I see it in a calendar? Well, no, I fear not. But then I've never seen a shoe distributor's calendar :-)

It has a lot to commend it, but I feel that for a calendar shot it should have more punch, more immediate impact. 6

Nicely composed, good shadows. A little vague for a general callendar yet meaningful amoung certain groups. I'm scoring this 8 based purely on composition and execution. I feel you deserve it.
