Rocks and Seaby Penny LaneComment: There a general rule of thumb that a horizon line should not bisect the frame in the middle, but instead be placed at the top or bottom third of the shot. |

Now, can another one be done in the white shirt/tie/sunglasses combo like in the video I love so much? |

michaellaughing.JPGby lizzyc3Comment: Agree about the motion blur and contrast; next time get the subject far away from the background and use DOF to isolate the subject. Great expression on the face! Just crop it tighter and get rid of that motion blur problem. |

mom&katie.JPGby lizzyc3Comment: I'm not sure the post thing is adding very much. Great expression on the little girl. Why not try a tighter crop and see how you like it? A boost in contrast and levels might be nice as well. |

cuteholdinghands.JPGby lizzyc3Comment: Arty gave some helpful advice. When I shoot outside during the day, I generally either find shade or make shade, and use the onboard flash as a fill flash.
You might be able to make this better with a little dodge/burn - on the faces to brighten them up and on the background to add more contrast. Did you use a levels adjustment? That might help with overall tonal range as well. |

Just Meby MattOComment: Returning for comment...Stubble is Dead Sexy. Great capture of facial expression, selective saturation on the eyes is very well done. You look super nice and friendly, with just a hint of devilishness. :) Good luck in the challenge! |

Reflectiveby pidgeComment: OMG - this is freaking fantastic! Good capture of facial expression, beautifully composed with the natural window framing in the background, pose and costume give the viewer a sense of yourself, and a reflection to boot. I don't have enough praise... You Rock! |
