Sailors are our heroes - agreed! You've done a good job capturing the movement of the waves and an excellent job with the color. Without the title, I'm not sure this photo would obviously be of a hero. Perhaps a composition including a closer view of the boat and some of the sailors on it would have conveyed your intent more clearly. Overall, a good image and one I enjoyed.
