His Serious Faceby libertyComment: Larf. Hidden gems anyone? I didn't even see the tongue for a moment because I'm getting bad net lag right now and the bottom half didn't load for a couple of seconds. I had already started picking apart the apparent softness (probably the result of a strong crop?).
Almost smacks of the dualism of the Mona Lisa. heheh. |

After The Stormby GallatinComment: No offense, but it doesn't really look like there was just a storm. No indication of strong winds at all. In fact, the snow looks like it's been sitting there, melting and re-freezing for a few days. When it did snow, it was probably a nice gentle snowfall with virtually no wind at all (look at the pocks and pits in the grass and how nicely the snow is piled up on the trees.
Still, it's a somewhat appealing display of snow... |

Phone Homeby LanceWComment: The only thing I don't much like is the fact that the contrast of the clouds at the very top does not match the contrast of the clouds elsewhere. I'd be happy with lens falloff/vignetting in the corners, but it looks a bit strange. Yeah, stupid niggle. Sorry. Anyhow, you still get a 9. :) |

Lizzyby Miss TaterbugComment: Interesting effect. I like it on the bricks and don't like it at all in the grass. The color of her hair works nicely with the color of the bricks. |

Life's a beachby QuackersComment: Quite nice. The colors of the sky are just a tiny bit too green/yellow to be natural, but actually I think it lends itself to the duckie quite well. The duckie could be a bit brighter and it seems like I can see a lens shadow from the flash or...
The overall picture works quite well and I also appreciate the tone of the sand which complements the strength of the other lines. |

Bay Bluesby gaurawaComment: quite lovely and the patchy, feathery effect in the water is very effective. |
