At first, i though it was a railway line :) Would have been better with a wider DOF, more details of the beach would emerge.

What's a DPC challenge without a rubber duck?

This wouldn't be DPC without at least one Ducky. Great colors. Congrats!

Interesting optical illusion of the duck sitting on a surface lower than the ocean, with a sharp edge right behind the duck.

great angle on this beach shot, works with or without ducky, but that is one sure ducky

DOF and lighting are really nice, I think the yellow looks great against the blue and you got some nice clouds.

I have a soft spot for duckies that might help make up for the ducky-haters :)

It doesn't look like the warmest day for ducky to take a dip!

I'm totally with the rubber duck on this one. I wish the DOF was deeper to encompass the sky as well

Quite nice. The colors of the sky are just a tiny bit too green/yellow to be natural, but actually I think it lends itself to the duckie quite well. The duckie could be a bit brighter and it seems like I can see a lens shadow from the flash or...

The overall picture works quite well and I also appreciate the tone of the sand which complements the strength of the other lines.

I love how gorgeous the back drop is to such a "silly" subject. Rubby ducky at it's finest! FUN!

Love the duck, unusual foreground lighting - Is it a fill flash? Anyway, nice leading lines along the beach, I would have liked a stronge rule of thirds. Good luck.

I might dodge that dark cloud on the top right of the frame. It is a little heavy in the sky. It pulls the eye away from the duck and the perspective of the beach.
