sunriseby scwalshComment: For a first sunrise, you nailed it. Great image. Slight rotation needed on the horizon, but that's just my nit-picky side. |

Boys in the Cabinetby slaaksoComment: Great pet collage! Some canned philosophical trash at the bottom would make this into a fast selling poster for kids! |

by SDWComment: This is the type of image that would get hammered in a challenge, but removed from that environment is far superior to most that get posted. I think I would put a slight rotation to level the buildings and use the road to draw the eye across the subliminal message.
This would make a perfect Neo Christmas card! |

Day 1 - Seedsby kteachComment: Love this! Almost impressionistic. Great choice of colors to augment the image. There's a ton of color noise, that lends a wonderfully brushed feeling to the whole. Neat Image would have ruined this shot. Top ranks! |

day-1Poinsetta Dropsby boyd2000Comment: What a find! Nice to have the subject waiting for you all ready to capture it in it's unfettered glory. Perfect exposure. Great job. |

Day 1- by LMA128Comment: Very nice control on the DOF and choice of the brown (roots?) as the primary subject. Can you get in any closer? The texture in those things would make for a great abstract in magnification. |

talk - day 1 macro by scwalshComment: Great stock photo! Nice crisp lines and just the right exposure (even/flat lighting) to keep the technology on the muted side. Great job. |

Old Flower - Day 1by slaaksoComment: Great image. Would have a lot more impact with a much tighter crop, even square. The inclusion of the dead plant really gives a nice contrast to the seeds. |

Day Oneby ZeppKashComment: Agree with the arcing pollen fragments. A large print of this would really betray the glass effect. Otherwise a spot on image and great colors! |
