A Tough Dayby BradComment: (Participant so not voting.)
A few distracting things; the blue bottle primarily. A fill flash on the man could have helped too. Positioning of the man closer to the left, almost RoT, could have enhanced an otherwise good image. His facial expression.... love to see it. |

Into the sunsetby robertachComment: (Participant so not voting.)
I get the same feedback; over sharpened. The tracks definitely are and look more like cables laid than the track itself. Again, HDR here would have benefited you greatly. Lovely sky you have there! |

Winter At The Beachby DrakeComment: (Participant so not voting.)
I see beautiful contrasting warm and cold colors, great composition and sharpness where it should be. I wish people would stop and look and get the FEEL of this image before voting it as average. |

Very creative and compelling. The frame does nothing for me. In fact I would have voted it way down for such a wast of prime space on an image that is strong enough to carry itself. |

Down memory lane with a perfect DoF and focus and composition. The only bother is the obvious not horizontal frame behind her. That hand with the ring tells a story all by itself! |

Love the warm, inviting colors in the frame. For me, if only the in focus ones had a little more contrast, oomph, I would have made it a favorite. OKAY, it is a favorite! LOVE it. |

Naturally Charmingby monkeypirateComment: With the first person, the blue eyed queen, being out of focus even slightly, the image lost all appeal. Great idea but not interesting at all. A narrow DoF with absolute focus on the fabulous blue eyes, the last person also showing face and the removal of the irritating green balloon? top right corner, you might have had something. Sorry, I do not mean to hurt you. Next time have a more critical look.

First attempt of water Dropletby CharlesphotosComment: (Participant so not voting.)
I can not do this, not in a million years. Nor do I have an inkling of a need to do it. Yes it is pretty, yes it is sharp and colorful. So what, it is after all just another water drop. Perfect in every respect and even worthy of a good score. Sorry for my honesty, drops just do not do 'it' for me. |
