i really like this shot, how the tops are in focus, and then fade down into white. Looking forward to learn how you accomplished this.

for some reason this marble doesn't look round to me, though it may because of the rectangular frame. I like the background except for the bottom right corner.

i really like it, the lighting and detail in the cherrios are especially nice. My suggestions: iron the placemat, I found it a little distracting, have more milk in the spoon so we can actually see it, and then move the bowl over just a tiny but so that the bowl and spoon aren't touching. Just my personal preferences. 8

the colors and composition of this are very nice, but it's not being sharp really detracts. It looks like a cheap consumer camera, though at this size (640) you should be able to get a higher quality out of it. 7

you've definitely nailed the challenge topic. i think a few things could be done to spice this shot up and make it more compelling: i like the lighting on the globe but think it could be pushed further so that there was a greater difference between the highlights and the shadows, the background feels a little uncontrolled, with the folds in the blanket and the top right corner, the angle of the globe feels a little uninteresting, right smack dab across the equator, and a different angle might help. These are just my own personal opinions, so take them for what they're worth. 5

i like the angle you've chosen, but would have liked to see the right side cropped a little tighter.

nice picture, i like the mood it creates. I'd suggest cropping the left a little to get rid of those dark objects over there, i just find them distracting. 8

i like the use of lines, the picture being crooked detracts, however.

great title. I'm not sure about the colors in the photo though. I'm assuming they're maniuplated (correct me if I'm wrong), but i don't think it's justified, the kind of thing i try when i'm trying to save a bad photo. but i think your photo is good enough to stand without a purple sky. but that's just one person's preference. 7
