 this is a small piece of glass like a marble with one flat side. i used scotch tape and placed it on my glass lamp shade in my bedroom. i shot it in macro mode. post procecsing was nothing more that crop..bump saturation a tad to get the backround the colr it is...resized saved for web.

Did you know this is not round? JOKING! This is a great shot! I love the colors and lighting. Very well done. It has a very fluid look which I think lends it a mysterious aura so to speak. You were obviously close to your subject which makes the lighting even more important and you pulled it off nicely! The mystery is deepened all the more by the bubbles. Turns you in a different direction and gets you thinking along a different set of lines. A lot from this shot with very little. A favorite for sure! 10 from me. Nice job! Very creative and imaginative! Rare in this challenge. Extremely well done!

for some reason this marble doesn't look round to me, though it may because of the rectangular frame. I like the background except for the bottom right corner.
