something needs to be straighter or more tilted - this little bit of slant is uncomfortable - try rotating so that the post on the right is straight, thats the one tat is the most noticable compared to the border.

I really hope this photo does well - its not what i would put into a travel brochure - but I really like it
I like the strong lines. I like how the people contrast with the institution in every way . Heay, light. straight lines - human shapes. Static and stil, a hint of movement and wind on the skirts. The two women on the right show the most contrast and the most movement - perhaps the woman on the left who sets herself apart is half way to being turned into stone, 9

this is one of those scenes that must have looked great but the photo doesn't do it justice. The interesting part here is the flames, and they do look great. but everything else detracts from them rather than frames them. The basin is too dominant, the water wouldn't have been identified without the title. Crop it close to the flames.

eww - you're going to lose points for that border - i'll try to ignore it The clse up leaves have wonderfil shapes and make an effectve border - I like that half the frame is the big leaves and half is the smaller further away leaves.

Through the Trees

Nice camera work, would have been good for the deep DOF challenge as well. i like the contrast of the bark to the grass. however neither the tree trunks nor the scene they frame is ver interesting. I bet that tree in the center is lovely, if you could just cut down al the surrounding foliage the phot would be much stronger.
