Rough day, huh? See if you can improve the white balance next time, either by changing an in camera setting or using a photo editing program. Handsom Dad. Up the nose shots are not the most flattering of babies (or anyone else).

I'm clueless about what the username means, I assume it has something to do with guns. This is what would be called a snap shot on DPC and that is not usually a compliment. No matter how much time you spent setting up this shot, it has several flaws that are 'unforgivable" to the voters. First there is not clear point that is in focus, it all looks slightly out of focus. This could be camera shake, it looks like the light was not very bright. At slower shutter speads it is difficult to hold the camera perfectly steady. I could be that the auto focus on your camera could not decide where to focus because the main object is very dark and the light is low. Next the white balance is off. The whole image looks yellowish because of the incandescent light. Most cameras have a white balance setting to correct this. Or a photo editing program could correct it. And last is composition. An object place dead center is not often the most viewer pleasing arrangement. Try placing the main subject at one of the rule of thirds points and see if that improves your score.

whoa - perfect image for the name and you have made the horse look so very stoney by the colors, or lack of colors. great contrast between the light, colorful, fluffy, high sky and the grey gritty down on earth horse, Your choice of angle is just wonderful. 10

why is there a shadow under the cross? it looks like it is up against the sky. the shadow sort of makes me dissy, like it is a trick pphoto or the cross is moving. Other than that the image is excellent. i love the color of the processing.
