The birth of a babyby ddmckinney1954Comment: This is going to get knocked down in the scoring. It looks too much like a "snap shot". It is a picture with appeal to the family but not to the general public. The angle is odd, Is he sleeping upright? If you look at the whole image, most of it is taken up by "products" Pooh sleeper, baby blanket, pacifier. Not much baby there. And what of the baby - we don't see much of the misracle of him either. His cheek and forehead? Where are his eyes?, his smile? his characater? The Pooh gets mor attenetion than he does. |

flexible jointsby middelboschComment: This is a great photo, The angle emphasizes the creepyness of the double jointed fingers. The lighting is oerfect, makes it look like the kitchen table or even a school cafeteria table, combining the mundane with the bizarre. The chewed down fingernails add to the impression that it is a teen hand. A metaphor for those awkward years? |

Extraordinary in Designby amsmythComment: This is a plant, right? It would make a great character in a horror movie. The crop is a little too tight. Just like not cutting off peoples hands and feet, I think you shouldn't have cropped the wacko staemns. This is over exposed, I wonder how the purple would have looked under exposed. Or if the baclground had been white, the overexposed look might have made a nice high key image. The backgound is dtstracting, |

Mr COOLby kevrobertsonComment: The problem for me here was that it looks like he's peeing on the book case. |

Margaretby melismaticaComment: What an odd, wonderful portrait! Make you wonder who is Margaret, she must have a story to tell. She's too old for pure dress ups, too young to really wear this get up. He strange expression adds to the mystery. The phoot itself is really well done, the lighting enhances the drama and makes her look more trapped in her odd life. Her upward glance is tentative to the point of being afraid. Great work! |

Sheridanby gajmajComment: I am loving the high key entries into the challenge. I think this is my third favorite over all, not just of the high keys. The lighting and the color are sooo nice, her eyes are perfectly placed to draw attention, her gaze and the tilt of her head make the photo move. |

Princess by SonifoComment: Of course this is the winner! Everything is just perfect. I love the hand colored look, remember when we did it with inks? the light is lovely but that shadow along the back of her face, neck, arm is exquisite. 10 |
